Top Innovations in Smart Home Technology Unveiled at CES 2024

Samsung has revamped its home robot companion, Ballie, with new features and capabilities. The round smart home hub now comes with a built-in camera for patrolling your home and a projector for projecting images on different surfaces. Its LiDAR capabilities also allow for 3D layouts of the rooms in your home to use for Map View in the SmartThings app.

Ecovacs has launched the Winbot W2 Omni, a new model of its window cleaning robot that comes with a portable station and a battery for cleaning windows both inside and out. The Winbot W2 Omni will be available in the second quarter of 2024.

Beabot is releasing the AquaSense Pro robot pool cleaner, which can clean floors, walls, the water surface, and clarify water. It is available for pre-order at $1,699.

Aiper and Segway are entering the robot lawn mower market with their respective models. Aiper Horizon U1 can mow up to 0.47 acres on one charge and allows for wireless boundary setup and multi-zone management. Segway’s Navimow i Series can cover 0.20 acres on a single charge, uses a virtual boundary for wire-free setup, and is available for $1,899.

Ecovacs has also launched the Goat GX-600, a robot lawn mower that leverages obstacle avoidance and navigation systems from its robot vacuums. Dreame is joining the robot mower market with its Roboticmower A1, featuring 3D omnidirectional object avoidance and environmental sensing for accurate mapping.
