Google introduced new features for Android Auto and vehicles with built-in Android software at CES 2024. Electric vehicle owners will be able to share their car’s battery information with Google Maps to see battery levels and receive suggestions for charging stops. Trip planning is made easier by sending trips planned in Google Maps directly to the car with Google built-in. The Weather Channel app is now available for viewing weather forecasts and radar on the dashboard. Video streaming services and Google Chrome are also now accessible on cars with built-in Android. Many vehicle models currently have built-in Google software, with more models planned for the future.
