The Eufy X8 Pro is a two-in-one robot vacuum and mop that costs $500 and is designed to effectively clean different surface types. It features dual TurboCyclone Suction units and claims to be an expert at cleaning pet hair. However, the Pro-Detangle feature was not as effective in a house full of pets. The vacuum has a number of distinctive features, but the mopping functionality is not ideal for deep cleaning. The robot uses iPath Laser Navigation to clean in neat, consistent rows, and divides the space into areas that it considers different rooms. However, it lacks object avoidance and may get stuck on cords, toys, and stuffed animals. Despite claiming to keep its rollers tangle-free, the vacuum often requires manual unclogging. The Eufy X8 Pro is recommended for soft surfaces but may not be suitable for homes with multiple pets.
