Audioengine has been making speakers since 2005. The A5+ are active speakers that provide high-quality sound for vinyl or streaming via Bluetooth 5.0.
These bookshelf speakers feature analog class A/B power amplifiers, dual analog audio inputs, a 24-bit DAC, and Bluetooth aptX HD. This allows for Bluetooth streaming from a phone, aux input from a computer, and analog input from a turntable, all controllable with the included remote.
With a max output of 150W, they have 24-bit upsampling and a variable preamp audio output. The drivers are 5-inch aramid fiber woofers and .75-inch silk dome tweets.
The A5+ speakers come in white, black, or bamboo and include a 500mA USB power supply for charging devices like smartphones, tablets, and headphones.
