A new product is on the way in 2024, and it’s the Shokz bone conduction headphones designed for swimmers. The OpenSwim Pro is MP3-capable and also supports Bluetooth technology, making them versatile for various activities. The headphones come with 32GB of onboard storage capacity, allowing you to load up to 8,000 songs.
In addition to the storage capacity, the OpenSwim Pro features Shokz’s eighth-generation bone conduction technology with PremiumPitch 2.0 Plus audio experience. It also includes equalizer modes for swimming, vocal boost, and standard, as well as support for phone calls with two mics and noise cancellation.
The headphones have an IP68 rating, which means they can withstand up to two hours of submersion in water. They also offer nine hours of battery life and support quick charging for up to 90 minutes of listening with just five minutes of charge.
The OpenSwim Pro is designed with a nickel-titanium alloy frame and soft silicone coating to keep them securely in place, weighing in at just 27 grams. Bluetooth 5.3 provides flawless wireless connectivity with compatible devices such as watches, phones, or tablets.
The OpenSwim Pro will be available for purchase later in 2024, but the pricing has not been revealed. However, based on competitor pricing, it is expected to be in the range of $150 to $200.
