Victrola unveiled its new Stream Sapphire turntable at CES 2024, catering to the rising popularity of turntables and vinyl records. This new device allows users to stream their favorite vinyl records to various devices in their home, eliminating the need for a traditional vinyl setup. The turntable comes with high-quality specs, including a bespoke walnut veneer plinth, an Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge, and support for 24-bit/48kHz lossless FLAC audio. It also features Roon and Universal Plug and Play protocol (UPnP) integration, enabling music streaming to thousands of compatible devices. In addition to its wireless features, the turntable still includes RCA jacks for wired speakers. With a price tag of $1,499, the Stream Sapphire is designed for audiophiles.
Victrola also introduced the Victrola Automatic turntable, a simpler and beginner-friendly option priced at $199. This fully automatic turntable comes with Bluetooth connectivity, RCA outputs, a phono preamp, and an Audio Technica AT-3600L cartridge. It also boasts a unique “Repeat” feature, automatically replaying the selected side of the vinyl. Both turntables are set to be available in the spring.
