The newly launched “Doritos Silent” is said to be an AI-powered app version of the popular snack. According to the company, Doritos had around 500 individuals crunch chips into a microphone 10 times each, resulting in approximately 5,000 crunches that were used to train the AI to identify the sound and cancel it. This app reportedly works with all crunchy snacks and is currently available only for Windows PCs. There are plans to support other devices in the future. Additionally, there is currently no AI option for canceling the video of someone eating during a Zoom call.
