The Vantage V3 smartwatch from Polar is now available in three colors and costs $599. Three years have passed since the last Vantage watch was released. The newest Vantage V3 model has a modern design, features an AMOLED touchscreen display, dual-frequency GPS, onboard maps, and wrist-based ECG support. The device is designed to help serious athletes better understand their body and improve their performance. The strap is compatible with standard 22mm watch bands without the need for an adapter. The watch also has a 50-meter water resistance and offers up to 61 hours of battery life in GPS training mode. The Polar Flow app and website offer a plethora of data analysis tools to fully understand the user’s performance. The Vantage V3 is recommended for serious runners, but the heart rate accuracy and the price are potential drawbacks compared to the competition.
