We are almost at the halfway point of CES after wrapping up the third day in Las Vegas. So far, we’ve seen a lot of AI, with a focus on robot cleaners for various tasks, and increasingly larger and more transparent TVs. ZDNET has a presence at the show with team members seeing these products first-hand and reporting on the news remotely. Here are some of the top products and announcements from day 3. Wearable technology is moving towards rings, and two smart rings that stood out are the AmazFit Helio Ring and Movano Health’s Evie Ring, which is a 2024 CES Innovation Honoree Award recipient.2. Jackery’s solar concepts, such as the Jackery Solar Generator Mars Bot, demonstrate futuristic possibilities for smart energy harvesting.3. Asus has unveiled the world’s first foldable OLED portable monitor, the ZenScreen Fold, designed for portability at less than three pounds.4. Sony introduced a high-end XR headset that rivals the Apple Vision Pro, targeted towards 3D content creators and engineers.5. Amazon announced new Alexa capabilities, including Character.AI integration, Splash for creating songs based on user input, and Volley Games, similar to 20 Questions with AI.6. Satechi made upgrades to some of its best-selling devices, including the Stand & Hub with an NVMe SSD enclosure and the Thunderbolt 4 Slim Hub with a 150W GaN built-in battery.Other noteworthy products from CES include XREAL Air 2 Ultra smart glasses, Samsung’s Ballie robot with enhanced smart home device control, Hisense’s U76 100-inch TV with Dolby Vision and a 144Hz display, an iPhone keyboard case from Clicks Technology, and updates to Google Chromecast enabling casting of TikTok videos, and integration into more TVs.
