LangChain allows programmers to leverage ultrasound imaging for tasks such as breast cancer diagnosis with a ChatGPT-style natural language prompt. Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology has developed a simple open-source framework that provides practical applications using GenAI technology. LangChain combines large language model prompts with external resources, enabling the chaining together of various agents to handle different tasks. For instance, it has been used to combine ultrasound imaging with natural language prompts for diagnosis of breast cancer, whereby a radiologist can use language to invoke a computer analytical assistant. LangChain makes it possible to integrate various tools that remain behind the scenes using natural language commands, showcasing how GenAI frameworks are transforming the way programmers work. This is just the beginning, and more such frameworks are expected to emerge in the near future.
